This project consisted of a large wrap-around deck canopy with flag stone surface. Skylights were added to provide more natural light in the subject area along with the roof open on each side. Homeowners had a preference for the hidden roofs and no collar ties to ceiling windows. Extensive structural steel beams and were used to achieve this "open concept" design.

Narrow corner of the canopy, the solution was for the city of Ottawa by geographical and legal minimum for the rear yard setback.

Montana Project: Design 2006

This beautiful colonial style house requires a new two-story deck on the front elevation. We decided to extend the original size to allow a greater flow area and allow a little more substance to the overall appearance.

Faktor-faktor seperti cuaca hujan bukan merupakan kasus khusus di Indonesia, karena Indonesia adalah negara tropis dengan tingkat curah hujan tinggi. Terutama di daerah kota-kota besar seperti Jakarta, yang dibagi 13 sungai, adalah pengalaman berpotensi banjir.

Jadi, bagaimana jika Anda tinggal di kota-kota besar seperti Jakarta, yang dikhawatirkan akan banjir setiap tahun? "Aspek perencanaan awal sebuah bangunan peran penting. What Custom Home design process entail?

When you are ready for us to help you design your next home, we have the first consultation to get ideas and sketches. It is a good idea to collect your ideas, sketches and photos in a folder to come with you. We will then create a preliminary plan, which describe the ideas you take with you in the first visit and they discussed at that first meeting. If you have not quite decided on the front to see the appropriate home for your looks, we can work with you by looking through picture books and other home program to help you decide how you want the front of your home to look. When the preliminary plan is approved, we can email files to the approval of changes underway. We do usually some set of changes that preliminary design for transport to the construction documents.
After this preliminary stage, we begin the final construction documents (basically, the rest of the program, ie increase, electrical, foundation, mechanical, etc.) At this stage the designer and client must be in agreement on the final layout design is and ready for generation of all plans. BUDAYA JAWA DALAM PEMBANGUNAN Live House

Rumah dalam kasus ini adalah nama lain yang telah muncul sebelum DPR Core, sebuah konsep yang dikembangkan di Indonesia untuk negara-negara berkembang lainnya, yang dapat dimasukkan ke dalam kategori orang-orang percaya dalam kehidupan budaya Barat. Konsep adalah sebagai berikut:
1. Residen / home pengguna merupakan unsur utama dari proses membangun rumah;
2. Tidak bersamanya hanya sebuah "tempat penampungan" melainkan suatu proses atau kegiatan;
3. Rumah tidak boleh dipandang dari sudut pandang fisik, melainkan pada makna dan nilai kepada penduduk / pengguna;
4. pembangunan perumahan harus dilakukan oleh masyarakat sendiri dengan sedikit bantuan dari pemerintah.
Implikasi kebijakan dari konsep ini adalah pembangunan rumah oleh masyarakat dengan bantuan "terbatas / mini" Pemerintah dan penataan pemukiman kumuh dan ilegal.

Apa jenis perumahan tidak benar-benar dengan konsep homestay dalam realitas kehidupan kebudayaan masyarakat pada umumnya dan khususnya Jawa kelas? Studi pemukiman masyarakat pada umumnya dan Jawa khususnya harus dilakukan untuk menemukan rumah yang benar-benar layak dan dapat dilaksanakan, mengambil rekening karena: (1). kehidupan budaya pada umumnya, (2). sekolah umum dan Java (3). Java kepribadian. Tujuan dari kajian ini akan lebih berfokus pada orang-orang biasa yang tinggal di Yogyakarta dan Surakarta. Hal ini dilakukan dengan asumsi bahwa di dalam kawasan masih banyak orang yang hidup yang masih berpegang pada kehidupan budaya Jawa tradisional Jawa - kosmologi budaya.

Filosofis latar belakang, penelitian ini dalam konteks mentalitas masyarakat Jawa yang masih menganut budaya tradisional, yang memiliki ekspresi: "Mangan ora Mangan Waton bersama-sama" (makan atau tidak makan asalakan tetap bersama-sama). The architectural salvage material in our antique barn in Kennebunk, Maine, is inventoried and resold as architectural artifacts. Rhiannon and Victor spot is perfect example of how with a little imagination, you can triumph over the challenges of the tenant is a small space. Our Style: Boho with morbid curiosity.

Inspiration: The Haunted Mansion at Disney World is the first place I (Rhiannon), and I remember saying, "I want to live here!" Growing up in rustic farmhouse also shape my aesthetic soon. Today we are both inspired by San Francisco Victorian architecture, imagination, what was in the past and future.

Favorite Element: Being on the third floor. In the vein on the first floor of an apartment building, I can not stress how important it is to be several stories up. Even the cutest apartment can be a nightmare if you have a lot of light, is afraid to let the window open and have no opinion.

Greatest Challenge: With some work, such as carpets, linoleum and unattractive kitchen.

Remy dan Kanny, sapaan akrab keduanya menginginkan sebuah rumah yang tidak terlalu banyak ruang. Bagi mereka yang penting ruang-ruang dasar kebutuhan mereka sudah terpenuhi, seperti ruang tidur utama dan tambahan, dapur, ruang makan, ruang keluarga, ruang keluarga, dan area layanan.

This client has lived in a converted Victorian house is flat. They had a small kitchen with a false ceiling, which was separated by a partition wall of living room. The customer wanted to create a spacious feel, and add more light into the balcony.

The architect, the subtle changes that had a significant impact on the look of a flat. As part of the bulkhead project was canceled, the original coving was restored to open the French windows, ugly corner of the pipes were installed and a new kitchen.

The results of the project combined the two spaces, and showing all the best features of this Victorian flat.

Tip 38 Renovasi Rumah vs Bangun Rumah Baru: Cheap harga untuk apa?

Bila panggilan klien saya untuk berkonsultasi merenovasi rumah, ada dua hal yang selalu biasa adalah: Pertama, "Kami hanya ingin memindahkan tembok / dinding, beberapa meter ke belakang atau ke samping", dan Kedua, "Kami ingin meningkatkan rumah menjadi dua lantai ". Bagaimana (biaya), mbak?

Berikut saya merespon isu pertama. Ok, masih banyak yang berpikir bahwa masyarakat umum, sedikit perubahan atau sedikit renovasi dengan biaya. Klien sering terkejut, ketika tahu bahwa biaya yang dikeluarkan sering di luar perkiraan mereka.

Memperbesar ruangan 1 m atau 3 m hampir tidak mengubah biaya kerja. Soalnya, komplikasi yang mungkin muncul karena renovasi dapat sama antara renovasi besar dan kecil. Misalnya, perubahan pada atap, memperpanjang utilities (listrik dan air), sesuai dengan finishing awal.

Located in a factory, renovated with style, at the corner of Park Street and Bartholomew Avenue in Hartford's Parkville neighborhood DesignSourceCT solidified the region as a top venue for the design and put it squarely on the map. "We had a person from New York last week, who had heard a lot about it and just seen," says Zwiener.

Arsitek di mata masyarakat kita

Pagi-ambing, sementara sebagian orang masih tidur ketika pagi hari atau binatang peliharaan, mungkin saat yang tepat untuk desain rumah di sebuah kompleks perumahan kecil. A Guide to Creating a Minimalist Home

Every Wednesday is Simplicity Day on Zen Habits.

I can not say that I truly minimalist home, but not cluttered, and most people I know would call a beautiful minimalist house.

One visitor who saw my kitchen and remarked, "I have never seen a kitchen that looks so clean, so clear stuff!" Well, I do the best to stay clean, but the button to remove items that are not necessary.

Benefits of the Minimalist Home
I could go on for a while this may be, but I just list some key benefits:

1. Less stress. Chaos is a form of visual distraction, and everything in our vision we attract at least a little. Less clutter, less visual stress we have. A minimalist home is calming.
2. More interesting. Think about the image of the home cluttered, and photos of minimalist homes. Once you've gotten down to the bare furniture major, all clear again on the floor - either donate it, trash, or find a place for it out of sight.

9. Simple works of art. To keep the room is not boring, you can put a simple painting, image or photo, framed with soft, solid color, on each wall if you want. Leave some walls bare if possible.
10. Simple decor. Referred to in the above tips, one or two simple decorations can be used as accents for the minimalist space. A small flower vase or plant is drunk two classic examples. If the rest of the rooms have been weak colors, you can use bright colors (like red or yellow) to draw the eyes and give a plain space splash energy.
11. Plain window treatments. Bare windows, or simple, solid color curtains, or simple, wooden blinds are good. Too much ornate stuff around the windows is clutter.
12. Plain pattern. Solid colors are best for floor coverings (if you have), furniture, etc. Complex patterns, such as flowers or checkers, are visual clutter.
13. The soft color. As mentioned in Tip 9 above, you can have a splash of bright color in the room, but most of the rooms have to be more subtle colors - white is classic minimalist, but any solid color that does not stress the eyes is good (earth colors come to mind, such as blues, browns, tans, greens).
14. Edit and eliminate. When you've simplified a room, you may be able to do more. Give a few days, and then see everything with fresh eyes. What can be removed? Saved from the view? What is not important? You can go back to each room every few months, and sometimes you will find things that can simplify even more.
15. A place for everything. I have discussed in this post, but in the minimalist house, it is important that you find a place for everything, and remember the places where they are. Where you blender go? Give it a spot, and stick with it. Logical place to aim for close to a place that used to make things more efficient, but the key that points to a place.
16. Sit back, relax, and enjoy. After the simplified room, take some time to see and enjoy. It's so peaceful and fun. This is the reward for hard work. Ahhhh. So nice!

Tapi akhirnya pak Wijanarko menghubungi kami Team Bangun Rumah, pak Widi dan pak Aris pantai Rumah bapak Wijanarko, melihat lokasi dimana Rumah rencana akan atas, akhirnya pak Widi dan pak Aris mengukur lokasi, membuat sket tanah dan ukurannya - yang ukuran ada teknis. Dan akhirnya, setelah mendapatkan informasi tentang ukuran teknis dan kebutuhan ruang dan model bangunan dengan melihat dan isteri pak Wijanarko, Team Bangun Rumah dibuat desain tata ruang dan model bangunan, dan akhirnya setuju pada desain.

Proper home design should be about the balanced matrimonial site, shape, function, durability and price. The right combination of these factors are crucial in the planning of a large home.

Site
A home site has many inherent properties such as size, shape, topography, views, orientation, and drainage applications - as well as the location of surrounding houses and trees. Each of these may limit or enhance a design and should be considered early in the planning process. Although we can not control the characteristics of a site, we certainly can give the home plans to maximize its use and enjoyment. Home sites are static - designs are infinite.

Shape
Form of a home, or what it looks and feels like the inside and out is extremely important to most homeowners. This is what makes us "feel good home" and have a great impact on our sense of style. Form or a home begins with its overall massing and space planning and ending with the smallest detail and decoration. The goal is to capture the essence of the owner's style using classic design features. This allows the home to remain fresh and elegant, while aging gracefully.

Our plans are much more than conceptual renderings. Every aspect is drawn to scale and fully dimensioned. Profiles and information are level-specific and is equipped to ensure that the desired appearance and proportion, inside and out, will actually be achieved. We are proud not only in our design, but also the quality of our plans.

Feature
The function of a home or how it should be used is perhaps the most important design factor, but is often overshadowed by other factors such as style or cost. Prolonged use and daily livability should be considered. A long-term home should be able to support the changing needs of the baby to have children all the way through the empty services phase. It may be necessary to bring the optimal design for a phase in order to strengthen the livability another. This may involve decisions on the location of the master suite, the availability of playroom or functions needed for a future pool. Whatever the long-term needs, the design of the home should also improve their daily life.

As you can see, we love to design houses, small and big, with plenty of Porches and garages, classic detail and gracious interior dimensions. We also wish to use the tried and true materials and we do not skimp on structural elements such as foundations and framing. Efficiency and value of our plans are not made by simply delete functions ... it is created by offering these features in a true economic and buildable format. Because the costs will affect all decisions in the design and construction, it is important to understand how specific elements actually affect the cost and to adopt a realistic budget early in the planning stage.

Balance
Determining the right balance of these factors as they relate to your individual needs will have a major impact on livability value and enjoyment of your home. Choosing a quality design with an excellent set of plans is key to building a great home!
